Calm Classrooms

With over 11 years of engaging thousands of students and teachers, we are sharing some of our favourite strategies.

What to expect:

In this PD teachers will learn about the importance of mindfulness, for themselves and their students. Techniques will be explored and practised as we recognise their impact towards creating an energised, engaged and focused learning environment.

Brain breaks, engagement techniques, students emotions and meditation are some of the hands on techniques that teachers will experience in this interactive PD.

These techniques can be embedded in daily teaching practice to improve student behaviour, refocus attention and improve outcomes.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Thanks to Mel, the students loved the experience. It's great to know that they will remember the experience and have a vice (their take-home crystals) to use to bring them happy thoughts in times of sadness/anger! Hopefully we will have a unit next year that will be enhanced by one of your programs.

Ringwood Heights PS

All the students were all definitely engaged and also learnt many science facts as well. It was all handled very professionally and teachers were able to just observe without having to intervene or having to run experiments.
