Codebotics

Discover basic coding at its best with this creative twist

RECOMMENDED FOR YEAR 2 - YEAR 5

Students see the evolution of coding using 'plugged' and 'unplugged' forms. This incursion incorporates team work, creativity, technology, performance and problem solving all in one.

Students are given challenges to code their way through obstacle courses and command their robots to do things such as speak, sound like a chicken, change colour or roll. 'Unplugged' coding brings out students performance skills as they code their class to respond to their commands in a systematic approach that challenges students memory skills.

Our qualified teachers are fantastic at tailoring the sessions to suit your focus so please give us as much detail as possible and we will make it happen.

Focus

Our Codebotics incursion will introduce your students to entry-level coding as they explore its evolution in 'unplugged' and ‘plugged’ forms. Our army of Spheros will be coded to speak, cluck like a chicken, change colour, roll and attempt to make their way successfully through obstacle courses.

'Unplugged' coding helps students shed their inhibitions as they code each other, responding to commands in a systematic approach that challenges their memory skills.

Our qualified teachers are fantastic at tailoring the sessions to suit your focus and we can link this incursion to STEM, Design & Technology, Coding, Problem Solving and Creativity.

Common focus areas throughout this incursion are:

I have been using Supreme incursions for around 7 years. The incursions we have had have been well organized, engaging and show the links with Curriculum areas. Ryan has been a familiar face at St Michaels with the Biily cart and Orienteering incursion. His manner and expertise is outstanding, and his management of the students is extremely effective. Thanks again for another memorable incursion.
