Tinkering

Experiment, code, innovate and create!

RECOMMENDED FOR YEARS 3-7

Tinkering is the perfect introduction to electronics, circuits and basic coding with students given the opportunity to get hands-on and investigate how circuits work. They will also explore some solar energy, conductors, insulators and the components that can make up various kinds of circuits in this wonderfully engaging STEM/STEAM incursion. Basic coding is part of one rotation as students enjoy machines at work through team obstacle course challenges.

Brilliant! Brent's approach was very child centred and the content of the incursion fitted perfectly with our program content. Brent and his assistants really engaged with our students and took the time to explore movement with them in each of the toy play stations. Thank you!

It was a very engaging experience for our students, particularly those students typically difficult to engage.

All the students were all definitely engaged and also learnt many science facts as well. It was all handled very professionally and teachers were able to just observe without having to intervene or having to run experiments.
