Brickworks

Immerse yourself in a world of building and imagination!

Bricks, bricks, and more bricks! Immerse yourself in a world of building and creativity in our fun and engaging Brickworks program. Children will showcase their imaginative side as they tackle various construction and design challenges. This STEM-focused incursion promotes teamwork and communication as participants collaborate to complete exciting construction tasks. With a mix of partner and small- group activities, children will explore concepts related to design and engineering while drawing on their creative instincts. Tailored to suit various themes like communities, dinosaurs, and space, our Brickworks program ensures a memorable hour of fun!

While rotating through 4 stations, children:

collaboratively design a community or landscape, identifying key features
work in pairs to construct various models by following a set task brief
think critically to design and build models of people or elements that fits the session’s theme
discuss, design and build a vehicle suited to the theme of the session.

Important Information

A large unfurnished gymnasium or hall is required for this incursion

40 children maximum per session (approximately)

A minimum 75% deposit must be made 7 days from the date of booking for your incursion to go ahead

Our instructor will arrive an hour before your start time to set up

We will structure the sessions around your daily timetable

You will be invoiced in accordance to your normal children numbers

This session runs for 60 minutes

Educators must be present during the session

Please let us know if there are any variations on the day and we will amend the invoice accordingly
