Build Your Survival Skills in the Ultimate Shelter Challenge!

Get ready for an exciting adventure where children will test their survival skills by working in teams to construct shelters that can withstand even the harshest conditions! In our Shelter Survivors program, children will develop teamwork and problem-solving abilities as they collaborate towards a common goal. Each team will design their shelter within a budget, considering various materials and their effectiveness against extreme weather, including the fierce Hurricane Supreme! They’ll also navigate the world of budgeting by managing their Shelter Building money, weighing needs versus wants, and handling refunds and exchanges. Communication, negotiation, and collaboration will be essential as they strive for success in this hands-on challenge.

During this test of survival, children will:

Work together in teams to design and construct resilient shelters.
Collaborate on design by selecting materials and making informed decisions as a group.
Allocate tasks to ensure everyone contributes effectively within their teams.
Practice budgeting by making smart decisions with their resources and prioritising needs over wants.
Tackle challenges by developing strategies to ensure their shelters can withstand severe weather conditions.

Important Information

A large outdoor space near trees, fences and playgrounds is required

40 children maximum per session (approximately)

A minimum 75% deposit must be made 7 days from the date of booking for your incursion to go ahead

Our instructor will arrive an hour before your start time to set up

We will structure the sessions around your daily timetable

You will be invoiced in accordance to your normal children numbers

This session runs for 60 minutes

Educators must be present during the session

Please let us know if there are any variations on the day and we will amend the invoice accordingly
