Shelter Survivors

Test survival skills by working in teams to create shelters that withstand the harshest elements!

Our Shelter Building Incursion provides an opportunity for students to develop their team-building skills by working towards a common goal.

Students will be required to design their shelter to work within their budget whilst considering various design elements, including the suitability of materials. Students shelter must protect their whole team from the harshest weather conditions, including Hurricane Supreme!

Students will learn about various types of human-made and natural shelters and discover why they are built the way they are. Students must also use their Shelter Building money wisely, and brainstorm needs vs wants, and calculate refunds and exchanges. It requires communication, negotiation and teamwork to complete their task successfully.

Our qualified teachers are fantastic at tailoring this incursion to suit your focus, so please give us as much information as possible.

Important Information

A large unfurnished gymnasium or hall is required for this incursion

40 children maximum per session (approximately)

A minimum 75% deposit must be made 7 days from the date of booking for your incursion to go ahead

Our instructor will arrive an hour before your start time to set up

We will structure the sessions around your daily timetable

You will be invoiced in accordance to your normal children numbers

This session runs for 60 minutes

Educators must be present during the session

Please let us know if there are any variations on the day and we will amend the invoice accordingly
